Deckbuilder: How to build your edge

Build, test, adapt. Your next win starts in the deckbuilder.

How do I get into the Deckbuilder?

Just click the Deckbuilder button in-game.

Top section

  • In the top row, you will find three preconstructed decks made by us: Basic, Advanced, and Expert. I recommend using them to get familiar with the game, play against AI, or try your first free matches against other players. However, they are not the best option for money matches.
  • The first deck in the row is always a featured community deck (it changes every week). You can read more about this in our Discord in Deck and Strategy Discussion.
  • Sharing your decklist also gives you a chance to win the Legendary Deckbuilder role and 5,000 Showpoints!

Bottom section

  • You can see your personal decklists
  • If you do not have any yet, you will only see the Create new deck button.
  • Click it, and let’s dive into the Deckbuilder!

Let’s build!

Main controls

  • Name your deck so you can easily recognize it later.
  • Use the filters at the top to narrow down cards, and the search bar to find cards by name.
    • You can filter by the stage when an action card can be played, or by the class the action card belongs to.
  • Right-click a card to zoom it in and see a tooltip with its main abilities and keywords.
  • Left-click a card to add it to your deck.
  • When you’re happy with your deck, click Save and Exit in the top-left corner.

Rules

Number of copies you can play

  • Each card shows its rarity in the bottom-left corner.
  • An empty symbol means the card is common, and you can include 2 copies in your deck.
  • A filled symbol means the card is rare, and you can include only 1 copy.

Class restrictions

  • You can mix a maximum of 2 classes.
  • Choose carefully: pick classes and cards whose effects work well together to build a strong deck.

How many cards can I have in a deck?

  • Minimum: 25 cards
  • Maximum: 30 cards
  • Some players prefer a full arsenal, while others prefer a thinner deck to increase the odds of drawing their strongest cards in a single game.
  • Keep in mind: if you draw all your action cards during a game, you will not be able to refill your hand. For every card you cannot draw, your opponent gets 2 points.

How do I know which cards are good?

Have fun, experiment, and build something that breaks the meta.
